The 2013 Federal IT & Network Services Summit and Technology Showcase will examine how government agencies have implemented IT & Network solutions within their organizations. It will also look at the convergence of Mobility, Cloud, Big Data and other technologies within the government. In addition, it will examine innovative procurement techniques and the challenges of incorporating new technology into the enterprise.

Mary Davie (GSA) will serve as Government Chair and Tom Suder (Mobilegov) as Industry Chair, while Stephen Fletcher of NTIA/FirstNet is Government Vice Chair of the Federal IT and Network Services Summit, which is complimentary to government participants. The Summit will be held on Thursday, June 20 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. The host organization for the event is the Advanced Mobility Academic Research Center (AMARC). The AMARC mission is to optimize the delivery of government services through the utilization of mobile communications technology, expand academic research capabilities within government organizations, and promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) training at academic institutions.
